Cooking Ingredients 配料:
1 Skinned chicken, 4 whole cloves of garlic (unpeeled), some rock sugar.
鸡一只 (去皮) , 或其他肉类1公斤,蒜头4大颗 (不要剥皮,不要压碎), 适量冰糖。
Cooking Method 煮法:
1. To boil 4000ml of water. Add in a packet of Lim Wah Thai Chic Kut Teh and 4 whole cloves of garlic. Cook over high heat for 10 minutes and then with low heat for another 1 hour.
先用(大约4000ml) 水,加入林华泰鸡骨茶香料一包,蒜头4大颗,大火煮10分钟, 再转小火煮1小时。
2. Add in the chicken and cook over high heat for 10 minutes and then with low heat for another 1 hour. Season with salt and rock sugar. Serves 3-4 persons.
将去皮的鸡或其它类1公斤放入林华泰鸡骨茶汤锅里,大火煮10分钟,再转小火煮1小时。加入少许盐和适量冰糖。供3-4个人食用。
Note: Please cook the soup with the pack of ingredients longer until its aroma arises before adding the chicken. Lengthened cooking time/add in rhizoma polygonati odorati (yu zhu), wolfberry (gou qi), red dates, chinese angelica (dang gui) to enhance the flavour of the soup that also invigorates vital energy.
注: 请先熬汤后再加入肉类, 汤熬越久越香浓。可另加玉竹, 杞子, 红事, 当归增添美味又滋补。
Cooking Method - Vegetarian 素食煮法:
1. To boil 4000ml of water in a pot. Add in a packet of Lim Wah Thai Chic Kut Teh and cook over high heat for 10 minutes and then with low heat for another 40 minutes.
先用(大约4000ml)水,加入林华泰鸡骨茶香料一包, 大火煮10分钟再转小火煮40分钟。
2. Add in chinese mushrooms, glass vermicelli, needle mushrooms, bean-curd skins, sea-weeds, fried gluten balls, yam bean (bengkuang), cabbage and other vegetables. Simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes.
味道香后,才可加香菇, 冬粉, 金针菇, 豆腐皮, 海苔, 面筋, 沙葛, 包菜及各种菜类, 再用慢火熬10分钟。
3. Season with salt and rock sugar.
加少许盐和适量冰糖即可。
